Ukraine claims 1 soldier killed, 6 injured in Russian attack

The sound of Russia's attack on Ukraine has intensified. Meanwhile, Ukraine has made a big claim. Ukraine said that one of its soldiers was killed and six were injured in the attack by Russia. The Ukrainian military said that there has been a ceasefire violation in eastern Ukraine in the last 24 hours. One soldier was killed and six were injured in the firing.

The army said on its Facebook page that it had recorded 96 incidents of firing by separatists in 24 hours. A day before this, there had been 84 incidents of firing. The army said the separatist forces used heavy artillery, mortars and Grad rocket systems.

Ukraine accuses Russia of inciting violence. Ukraine said Russia was attacking under the pretext of formally recognizing eastern Ukraine.
