UK Woman Hit by Cauliflower While Shopping Faces Ongoing Headache and Nausea

Cauliflower injury UK supermarket incident: A UK woman hit by cauliflower shopping at a local grocery store. As per the reports, the UK woman was hit by a large cauliflower on her head.
Fox News reported that Sammi Mai was going through the discount section at a Waitrose grocery store in Bath, Somerset when he incident took place.
The UK woman identified as Sammi Mai told Fox News, “Suddenly a really large and heavy item fell on the top of my head, and hit my head. I fell and when I woke up, I was suffering [from a] concussion and was knocked out.”
Reports also stated that the woman suffers after being hit by cauliflower. Later, she told Fox News that she had post-concussion syndrome, and suffered from neck pain, headache and nausea after cauliflower hit.

She added that the veggie hit her head hard when it fell at least four feet from the top shelf.
When Mai and her husband contacted customer service two days later and told them about the incident. The store customer care sent them a £25 (approximately Rs 2,700) gift voucher and £8 (nearly Rs 880) for a taxi fare coupon. Mai found this response too inadequate as she was still suffering from the effects of the UK supermarket accident cauliflower hit.
Sammi Mai told The Sun, “As a loyal Waitrose customer, I feel deeply let down by their response. I didn’t use the gift card, I found it quite insulting. This ruined our holiday. I was very unwell and I’m still suffering and unable to work. I don’t know how the cauliflower fell but they should not store heavy, roundish items like that on the top shelf.”

She shared that she was very frustrated with how the store manager managed the situation, saying, “The staff just put it back on the top shelf so they were not treating the incident seriously.”
Waitrose told her she would need to take legal action against this matter. Mai added, “I wish I’d checked CCTV or got a witness statement on the day.”
Waitrose told Fox News Digital that were fully aware of the Cauliflower injury UK supermarket incident and the woman has also received immediate medical attention.
Waitrose added, “Our customer was seen immediately by a trained first aider at the time of the accident and we are sorry to hear she is unwell. We take customer safety incredibly seriously and have thoroughly investigated this case – but will consider any new information she wishes to share with us.”
