2024 Highest-Selling Smartphone: According to a new report, Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max was the best-selling smartphone of the first quarter of 2024.

For the first quarter of this year, Apple and Samsung dominated the top 10 best-selling smartphone list, each taking five positions.

Additionally, Apple and Samsung dominated the smartphone market, with shipments increasing by 6%.

This was the first time that Apple's Pro Max variant topped the charts in a non-seasonal quarter.

Four iPhone 15 models and one iPhone 14 make up the top 10, followed by Samsung's A and Series models.

Last quarter, Apple made half of its sales from the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.

Before this, most people had base iPhone models at the start of 2020.

Apple sold the most Pro iPhones in the first three months of 2024.

There has been an increase in sales of Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max, showing that consumers prefer premium features such as a telephoto lens, dynamic island, and 120Hz ProMotion display.

In Q1, Samsung's Galaxy S24 series also ranked fifth and ninth, with the Ultra model ranking fifth.

The Galaxy S24's success is due to a number of things, such as Samsung's early attempt to update the phone and the use of generative AI (GenAI).

People haven't been able to change their smartphones because older models didn't have enough features to make them stand out.

The main reason people buy high-end smartphones is that they will still work in years to come.
