After the Income Tax team raided the house of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC Pushpraj Jain alias Pumpi in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav in his press conference fiercely targeted the government. Akhilesh Yadav said, "Whenever BJP has a program in UP, it seems that they also call these departments along with them."

"BJP is trying to malign SP's name. Those who spread hatred will not like the fragrance of perfume."Akhilesh Yadav said that earlier BJP raided its own man's house by mistake and now to hide that they are raiding the residences of SP leaders.

In his press conference, Akhilesh Yadav said that perfume business is being done in Kannauj for years, and farmers are also involved in this business. The SP chief said that employment of many people is associated with this business."Kannauj has been a very connected area with socialists, if you look at the history here, there has been a history of brotherhood and harmony here."

Taking a dig at the BJP government, Akhilesh Yadav said that during the Samajwadi Party government, the budget and land was given for the perfumery park, but it stopped because of the BJP.He said, "The entire architect and land budget of the whole was marked, but as soon as the BJP government came, the perfumery park and perfume museum remained the same."

Akhilesh said that BJP has not only stopped the work of perfumery, but has stopped all the works that were being done in the Samajwadi government in Kannauj.
