Earlier, the price of CNG was Rs 60 81 paise per kg and now the price has increased to Rs 64.11. IGL attributed the rise in gas prices to global gas prices.
The new prices have come into effect from Monday morning. This is the seventh increase in CNG prices during the last one month and overall rates have increased by about Rs 7 per kg during this period. This increase in the prices of CNG and PNG is due to the jump in gas prices globally.
