The latest cases of Corona broke the record of both the waves; 44.6% cases increased in one day, previous record was 35.7%

The fast pace of Corona in the country has started scaring again. In the last two days alone, the daily cases of corona in India have more than doubled. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on December 30, 13,154 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, which is more than double the number of 6358 cases reported two days ago. During this period, the cases of Omicron in the country have also increased to more than 950 and this new variant has reached 22 states/UTs of the country.

In the last two days in the country, the rate of increase of corona cases has broken the record of both the previous waves. In just two days (28, 29 December) the daily corona cases in the country have doubled very fast. This is the first time that daily corona cases have increased at the rate of 40-40% in the country for two consecutive days.

According to the Ministry of Health, 6358 corona cases were reported in India on December 27, a day after, on December 28, 9195 cases were reported in the country, which is about 45% more than the day before.On December 29, there was a jump in the daily corona cases of the country and it increased to 13,154, which is about 43% more than the case of the previous day.

If we talk about the pace of increasing new daily corona cases in two days, then on December 28 and December 29, daily cases increased at the rate of 45% and 43% respectively.
