Sanju Devi And Bhateri Win Silver Medals In World Junior Wrestling Championship 2021
Indian women wrestling team has secured the third position with 134 points, Russia has also got 134 points but their two wrestlers have won Gold medals and that is the reason they have got the second position. Indian men wrestlers have won six medals in freestyle events and with Women wrestlers winning five medals, the Indian Wrestling contingent has so far, won a total of eleven medals.
New Delhi: Indian Women wrestlers Sanju Devi and Bhateri have lost their final bouts in the World Junior Wrestling Championship 2021 being held at Ufa (Russia). Both Indian Wrestlers will return with Silver medals. Yesterday, Indian women wrestlers have won three medals including one Silver and two Bronze. Now they have won a total of five medals including three Silver and two Bronze. Indian women wrestling team has secured the third position with 134 points, Russia has also got 134 points but their two wrestlers have won Gold medals and that is the reason they have got the second position. The USA with 143 points got the First position.
Indian men wrestlers have won six medals in freestyle events and with Women wrestlers winning five medals, the Indian Wrestling contingent has so far, won a total of eleven medals.
According to the information received here on Friday, Sanju ( 62 Kg.) lost the Gold medal bout to the wrestler of Russian and got Silver Medal. Bhateri (65 Kg.) lost the Gold medal bout to the wrestler of Moldova and will bring a Silver Medal too. Saneh (72 Kg.) lost her Bronze medal bout.
No Greco Roman Wrestler qualified for medal bouts. The remaining 5 weight categories of Greco Roman will be played tomorrow.
