Teenage stabbed in Delhi: AAP slams the Centre for ‘shocking state of law and order’
Stalkers have stabbed a teenage boy when he objected to their lewd comments on her sister in the Kalkaji area in southeast Delhi
The Aam Aadmi Party has slammed the Centre for the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi, the capital city of the country.
The ruling party has blamed the poor law and order situation for an incident in which a teenage boy was stabbed by his sister’s stalkers when he objected to it.
The boy has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The police are investing the case.
According to the girl, some unidentified persons started following her and passed some lewd comments.
This infuriated the stalkers and they started beating him mercilessly. One of them stabbed him in the stomach and run away from the scene of the crime.
The incident has caused a panic in the Kalkaji area of southeast Delhi.
AAP has blamed the Centre and the Ministry of Home Affairs for lax law and order situation which encourages anti-social elements to roam around and commit the crime in Delhi’s well-secured and posh colonies.
AAP has been demanding to bring Delhi Police under its mandate since the party has come to power in Delhi. At present, the police report to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
AAP leader Atishi tweeted, “Shocking state of law-and-order in Delhi continues. A young boy gets stabbed in Kalkaji protecting his sister from molesters. I'm heading to AIIMS Trauma centre to meet this young boy and his family. Praying for his speedy recovery.”
AAP also retweeted it from its Twitter handle and said, “Shocking state of law & order in Delhi under Home Minister Amit Shah.” AAP MLA @AtishiAAP is on her way to AIIMS to meet the teenager who was beaten and stabbed.”
