Sunita Kejriwal Reads Husband Arvind Kejriwal Letter from Tihar: AAP legislators are requested to visit their constituencies every day, according to a message read out by Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Along with the photographs of Bhagat Singh and Baba Saheb Ambedkar, the picture of CM Arvind Kejriwal in jail adorned the wall behind where Sunita Kejriwal delivered the video message.
"Just because I am in jail, the people of Delhi should not suffer in any way. Every MLA should visit their area every day and discuss people's problems and sort them out," Kejriwal said in a video statement read by his wife.
"I am not just talking about solving their government problems. We should solve other problems too. Delhi's two crore people are my family. No one should be unhappy because of me. God bless all of them. Jai Hind," Kejriwal noted.
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Arvind Kejriwal on March 21 in connection with the now-scrapped excise policy and sent him to judicial custody for 15 days.
Sanjay Singh and his wife were seen praying at the Hanuman Temple in Delhi earlier in the day.
After visiting the Hanuman temple in the morning, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh visited Rajghat in the afternoon, before visiting Sunita Kejriwal at the CM's residence in the evening.
"AAP workers are ready to fight injustice and dictatorship, and we stand with our leader Arvind Kejriwal," Singh said, exuding confidence in AAP's strength against the BJP.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court granted bail to Singh in the money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy scam.
