A writer Ashish Kaul has claimed that he holds the copyright of the story of the forthcoming film of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
A writer Ashish Kaul has claimed that he holds the copyright of the story of the forthcoming film of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
Ranaut has informed that she will now work in the second instalment of the 'Manikarnika' sequel, titled as 'Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda'.
The actress recently tweeted a message with a promotional video of the film which says, "#ManikarnikaReturns The Legend of Didda ... is about to be top trend now .... thank you friends."
She again tweeted that India has been witness to the story of many Bravehearts like Rani of Jhansi.
She said that another such untold heroic story is that of a queen of Kashmir, who defeated Mahmud Ghaznavi not once but twice.
She added that she is coming with Kamal Jain in her forthcoming film ManikarnikaReturns: The Legend of Didda.
According to Kaul, he spent six years doing the research and finding out details of a princess known as Didda.
She was the Princess of Lohar, which is Poonch now a district in Jammu & Kashmir. She was also the Queen of Kashmir.
Kaul has claimed that in on September 11, 2020, he wrote a mail to Kangana and requested her to write a forward for his book but he hasn’t received any response yet.
“Now I am very surprised to learn that she is doing her next movie on the similar story,” Kaul said adding that he is the only person who has done so much of research and found out minute details about the princess.
According to him, historical documents have sketchy details.
