Rishabh Pant scored his first 100 in South Africa and his fourth in the cricket test on Thursday to help India extend their lead in the third and final test against Dean Elgarled's side in Newlands. With the score in triple digits, Pant is now the only Indian wicket keeper to score a century in South Africa and he has done so in style.
The second Indian round ended in 198 when Marco Jansen (4/36) Kagiso Rabada (3/53) and Lungi Ngidi (3/21) shared all the wickets. The referees called for a tea break after the fall of the last Indian wicket. Cheteshwar Pujara (9) and Ajinkya Rahane (1) failed again as Virat Kohli (29 of 143 balls) did his best to stay in the fold as long as possible before Ngidi sacked the skipper.
