Smriti Irani told her daughter's allegations of running a bar in Goa as false
However, these allegations have already been dismissed by Smriti Irani's daughter. Kirat Nagra, counsel for the Union minister's daughter, said her client neither owns nor operates a restaurant named 'Silly Souls'.
Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani has responded to the allegations of her daughter running a bar in Goa and the Congress' attack on her. Smriti Irani said that her daughter is 18 years old. The daughter is a first year student of the college and is not running any bar. Smriti Irani alleged that the character assignment of her daughter is being done by the Congress. The Congress on Saturday alleged that Smriti Irani's daughter was running an "illegal bar" in Goa. The opposition party requested PM Modi to sack the Union Minister for Women and Child Development.
The Union Minister said, I challenge Rahul Gandhi to contest again from Amethi Lok Sabha seat in 2024, and promise that he will lose again. Smriti Irani, BJP MP from Amethi said. I will seek answers in the court of law, the court of the people. The Union Minister said on the allegations of Congress that his daughter is running an illegal bar. My daughter's fault is that her mother held a press conference on Rs 5,000 crore 'loot' by Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.
Goa-based lawyer Ayers Rodrigues, who filed the complaint, said on Smriti Irani's reply, "The whole world knows that 'Silly Souls Cafe & Bar' is managed and operated by the family of Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani in Asgao village of Goa. Bhouta is done in Vaddo and there is enough evidence for this. He said, "The Excise Commissioner has issued a show-cause notice to the bar and restaurant. So in the hearing on July 29, it will be known who owns it." Rodrigues said, it has been revealed that Smriti Irani's family also has other major properties in Goa. All this should be investigated by law enforcement officers.
