Section-144 has been implemented in Kota for one month. Section-144 came into force from Tuesday and will remain in force till April 21. Now five or more people will not be able to gather together in Kota district.

This has been done because of the film The Kashmir Files. The Kota district administration feared the film would cause communal tension in Kota. Acting District Collector Rajkumar Singh has issued orders in this regard on Monday. Now no procession or demonstration will be held in Kota city for a month.
It has been said in the order that no person can carry rifle, revolver, pistol, shotgun or any other sharp weapon in Kota. People of the Sikh community will be allowed to wear kirpan as per religious tradition. On the other hand, political reasons are also being told about the implementation of Section-144 in Kota.
