Russia Ukraine Crisis: threat of attack on Ukraine

The threat of Russian invasion of Ukraine remains constant. Even after the rescue between countries like America, France, Ukraine has not been abandoned. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in his Facebook post that Russia may attack Ukraine on February 16.

On Monday, January 14, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves said Russia was fully prepared to launch a major offensive on Ukraine after Moscow gathered thousands of troops along its borders. America has also warned of Russian aggression in Ukraine. But Russia says it has no plans to attack Ukraine.

This potential threat looming over Ukraine is being viewed with great seriousness since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 and occupied its territory. Many countries, including India, have called on their citizens to leave Ukraine. US government military official, General Mark Milley, has warned that if Russia invades Ukraine, there will be dangerous fighting in urban areas.
