Roger Binny has been made the new President of BCCI. This has been decided in the Annual General Meeting of BCCI. Let us inform that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Annual General Meeting was held today at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, in which BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, now former President Sourav Ganguly, Vice President Rajiv Shukla, Treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal and former Indian cricketer Roger Binny were also present.

Binny, in his most recent tenure, had been the President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association and will now step down from the state body once he becomes the BCCI President. The former India medium pacer played a key role in India's historic victory in the 1983 World Cup. He played 8 matches for India during that time and was successful in taking a total of 18 wickets during this period. Roger was one of the highest wicket-taker in that historic tournament.
