Rishi Sunak removed many ministers after taking over as UK PM

Britain has got its third prime minister within three months. On Tuesday, Indian-origin Rishi Sunak took oath as the new Prime Minister. Rishi Sunak, 42, reached Buckingham Palace and met King Charles. Rishi Sunak has asked many ministers to step down after taking over as the Prime Minister of Britain.

Britain's new Prime Minister Rishi Sanuk has started preparations to implement his agenda within an hour of meeting with King Charles II. Sources said they have called for the resignation of several members of Liz Truss's team of ministers to announce her new cabinet.

So far, three ministers have been asked to step down. These include Trade Minister Jacob Rees-Mogg, Justice Minister Brandon Lewis and Development Minister Vicky Ford, sources said. According to reports, Jeremy Hunt will continue as the finance minister.

Truss had resigned recently after running the government for 49 days. Sunak said, "Liz Truss wanted to develop and improve this country. It was not wrong. It is a noble cause and I admired her eagerness to bring about change. But some mistakes were made, which were born out of bad intentions." Didn't happen, but still there were mistakes. Those have to be rectified now."
