There was a lot of ruckus in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Thursday. Once upon a time there was a scuffle between the ruling party MLAs, ministers and BJP MLAs. The scuffle reached the point. The two sides turned face to face. Later, after the intervention of senior ministers and MLAs, the two sides parted ways.
There was a lot of ruckus in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Thursday. Once upon a time there was a scuffle between the ruling party MLAs, ministers and BJP MLAs. The scuffle reached the point. The two sides turned face to face. Later, after the intervention of senior ministers and MLAs, the two sides parted ways. Due to the uproar, the house had to be adjourned four times. When the commotion did not stop, Chairman Rajendra Pareek adjourned the proceedings of the House till 11 am on Friday.
Amidst the uproar, on the proposal of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal, four BJP MLAs were suspended from the House for the remaining period of the budget session. The BJP MLAs sat on a dharna to protest the suspension of their four colleagues. After the proceedings were over, Leader of the Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria announced to spend the night in the House itself.
As soon as the proceedings of the House started in the morning, BJP MLAs came to the Well and started raising slogans against the government demanding a CBI inquiry into the Teachers Recruitment Examination (REET) paper leak case. BJP MLAs, who were registering their protest with black bands in their hands, raised placards demanding a CBI inquiry. The commotion continued even during the debate on Question Hour, Zero Hour and the Governor's Address.
