During the winter session of Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of farmers' agitation and the death of farmers in it. On the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws, Rahul Gandhi said that the Prime Minister apologized to the country, but the government denied the death toll of farmers.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that, when we found out, the state government in Punjab has given a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to about 400 farmers. Apart from this, 152 farmers have been given employment. We also have the list of 70 farmers of Haryana.
Rahul Gandhi asked that, on one hand the Prime Minister has apologized and on the other hand your government is saying that no farmer was martyred or we do not have the names. So I have brought this name by writing it here. I want that what they deserve should be given to them.
