"Press the panja button," Jyotiraditya Scindia's slip of the tongue

BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia committed a blunder while campaigning for Imarti Devi, a BJP candidate from the Dhabra assembly constituency. Scindhia, who left the Congress to the BJP in March this year, passionately requested people to press the panja (hand) button which is the Congress election symbol.
Imarti Devi with many other MLAs had also left the Congress along with Scindhia and joined BJP.
"Raise your hands and assure me and Shivraj Singh (Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan), my people of Dhabra, my fabulous and lively people, assure me with a pledge that on 3rd (November 3), you will press the panja button," he said from the stage addressing thousands of BJP supporters.
He immediately corrected himself, however, while the crowd looked surprised and confused, the candidate standing by him looked embarrassed.
Congress took the advantage of his faux pas and uploaded the video on its Twitter handle with a cheeky caption.
"Scindia-ji, the people of Madhya Pradesh assures you that on November 3, only the panja button will be pressed," it said.
