The Prime Minister's Office tweeted that PM Modi and German Chancellor Schalz met in Berlin to expand bilateral cooperation between India and Germany. Not only this, delegation level talks were also held between the two countries.
According to the information shared by the PMO, during the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the bilateral relations between India and Germany. This includes promoting trade as well as cultural ties. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the Guard of Honor in the presence of the German Chancellor.
People of Indian origin raised slogans of 'Vande Mataram' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' to greet Prime Minister Modi. Indian diaspora greets PM Modi before leaving for the Federal Chancellor in Berlin. During his visit to Germany, PM Modi and Olaf Schalz will also co-chair the 6th India Germany Intergovernmental Consultative Meeting. A high level round table meeting is also scheduled where Prime Minister Modi and the German Chancellor will hold talks with the top CEOs of both the countries.
