President Ram Nath Kovind and Chief Justice NV Ramana worship Lord Dwarkadhish in Gujarat
President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday offered prayers to Lord Dwarkadhish with his family at the Dwarka temple in Gujarat on the occasion of Ram Navami. The President prayed for the security, prosperity of the country as well as the happiness of the people.

Chief Justice of India NV Ramana also visited Dwarka temple and offered prayers at Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. The President reached Jamnagar Air Force Helipad by special aircraft.
He was received here by Governor Acharya Devvrat. From here the President, along with wife Savita and daughter Swati, went directly to the Dwarka temple to have darshan of Lord Dwarkadhish. Here on behalf of Dwarka Mandir Trust, Collector MA Pandya, Dhanraj Nathwani etc. welcomed him. Nathwani presented a painting of Lord Dwarkadhish to the President.
Nandini Bhattacharya, the local director of the Archaeological Survey of India, informed the President about the architecture and history of the Jagat Mandir. The President offered prayers at the temple and prayed to God for the security, prosperity of the country as well as happiness of the people. Chief Justice of India NV Ramana also reached the Dwarka temple on Sunday, after the darshan of Lord Dwarkadhish, the couple performed special worship by reaching Nageshwar Jyotirling. The President wrote in a tweet Happy Ram Navami to all the countrymen.
