PM Narendra Modi's public meeting in Jalandhar in a few minutes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a rally at PAP Ground here for the Punjab Assembly elections. Former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has reached the rally. Shiromani Akali Dal (United) chief Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa will also be present in the rally. PM Modi is likely to reach the rally at around 4 pm. Earlier the timing of the rally was told at one o'clock.

Tight security has been put in place for the rally in and around PAP Ground in Jalandhar. Policemen are stationed all over the city. Party's National Vice President Sodan Singh and in-charge of the rally Sunil Jyoti were also present along with BJP leaders from Punjab and Jalandhar at the rally venue.

Former Punjab Chief Minister and Punjab Lok Congress President Captain Amarinder Singh will also address the rally. Shiromani Akali Dal (United) chief Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa will also be present in the rally. Captain Amarinder Singh will attend the first election rally with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his alliance with the BJP.
