PM Modi praises first-ever goods train reaching Manipur’s Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station

In a similar significant development, for the first time after independence, a goods train reached Manipur’s Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station. Announcing this historic development, G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister For Culture, Tourism And Development Of North Eastern Region (DoNER), said that it is a historic day for Manipur & entire #NorthEast.
Reddy tweeted, "Historic day for Manipur & entire #NorthEast, after 75 years of India’s Independence, first goods train reaches Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station, Tamenglong in Manipur. The @narendramodi govt is committed to enhancing infrastructure connectivity & economic prosperity in the NER."
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi praised this first ever goods train that reached Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station in Manipur’s Tamenglong district.
PM Modi said that Manipur’s connectivity will be enhanced and commerce will be boosted.
PM Modi responded to a tweet of the Minister of Development of the North Eastern Region (DoNER), Shri G Kishan Reddy, and said this will enhance the connectivity of Manipur and boost its commerce.
“Transformation of the Northeast continues. Manipur’s connectivity will be enhanced and commerce will be boosted. Wonderful products from the state can travel all over the nation," PM Modi said.
