PM Modi : BJP adopted the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption
Addressing a rally organized at Ridge Maidan to mark the eighth anniversary of becoming the Prime Minister, Modi said after coming to power his government has removed nine crore fake names from the list of beneficiaries of various schemes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, to mark the completion of eight years of the central government. PM Modi addressed the countrymen in the national level program 'Garib Kalyan Sammelan' organized at Ridge Maidan in Shimla. PM Modi said that before 2014, corruption was seen as an essential part of the government. Now the BJP-led government at the Center has a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.
Be it Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or scholarship or any other scheme, we have eradicated the scope of corruption through direct transfer of benefits. PM Modi said that we have transferred more than 22 lakh crore rupees to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of various schemes through direct benefit transfer.
Along with this, he said that now our borders are more secure than before 2014. Regarding the measures taken by his government to deal with the corona epidemic, Modi said that so far about 200 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been given in India. India exported the COVID vaccine to various countries and the Baddi Industrial Unit of Himachal Pradesh has played a key role in manufacturing those jabs.
