Omicron cases cross 4 thousand in India, 179,723 new Covid cases in 24 hours

Omicron cases are increasing continuously in the country. At present, the number of Omicron patients in the country has increased to 4,033. Maharashtra and Rajasthan have the highest number of 1,216 and 529 cases of Omicron. According to the Ministry of Health, 1552 out of 4033 patients of Omicron have been discharged.

There have been 179,723 new cases of corona in India in the last 24 hours, in which 46,569 people have recovered and 146 people have died.

In India, 13,52,717 sample tests were done for corona virus on Sunday, till Sunday a total of 69,15,75,352 sample tests have been done. The daily positivity rate of corona virus in the country is now 13.29% and the weekly positivity rate is 7.92%.
