North East Team of Gokulpuri Police arrests Burglar, recovers all stone articles within 7 hours

New Delhi: In a recent development, the North East Team of the Gokulpuri Police arrested a burglar and recovered all the stolen goods and articles in a span of mere 7 hours. The accused has been identified as Anuj (20).

Sanjay Kumar Sain, Dy. Commissioner of Police, North-East District said that “On the 1st of March, a complaint regarding Burglary in a shop by three unknown persons was registered in the Gokulpuri Area of New Delhi, and an FIR was lodged, under Article 457/380 of the Indian Penal Code.”

Mr. Sain further added that “Assessing the gravity of the offense, a police team was made that consisted of HC Maharaj, Const. Rohit and Const. Vipin under the supervision of SHO/Gokulpuri. The team thoroughly scanned and analyzed CCTV footage of the vicinity. In one of the CCTVs, three persons were seen committing the crime. The Police laid a trap and apprehended the accused in the Pipeline, near Ganga Vihar. The Police recovered 3 Drill Machines, 28 Gas Burners, and 56 Gas Mixing Tubes within a span of mere 7 hours
