"Asser and i tied the knot to be partners for life. we tend to celebrated a small nikkah ceremony reception in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. we are excited to run along for the journey ahead," she added.However, net users identified Yousafzai' husband as Asser Malik, general manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board' High Performance Centre.
Yousafzai' Twitter feed was flooded with congratulations and expressions of goodwill for his or her marriage. International star Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Wednesday wished the couple 'joy and happiness'. The actress took to her Instagram Story and re-shared the marriage image of Yousafzai along with her husband and wrote, "Congratulations @malala wishing you most joy and happiness. you're an absolute vision!!"
