In view of the increasing positivity rate in Jammu, the DDMA is imposing a nighttime curfew from 10pm to 6am starting November 17 (Wednesday), ”Garg tweeted.He suggested individuals living within the town to follow Covid-19 SOP and get absolutely vaccinated. All station officers and tehsildars shall make sure that announcements are created on public address systems to create people tuned in to the new development, an order issued by the district functionary stated.
The DM said the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) carried out a detailed examination of the Covid situation in the city and decided that immediate action is needed as the positivity rate recently increased by 0.2%.
