New Year 2022: President, Vice President greet the nation on the New Year’s eve
In a message, released by Vice President's Secretariat, the President has said “On the joyous occasion of the New Year 2022, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all our fellow countrymen, living in India and abroad.”
On the eve of the New Year of 2022, the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind has sent his greetings to all his fellow citizens.
In a message, released by Vice President's Secretariat, the President has said “On the joyous occasion of the New Year 2022, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all our fellow countrymen, living in India and abroad.”
“May the new dawn of the New Year reinvigorate the spirit of peace, prosperity and fraternity in our lives. Let us resolve to bring in the new year with endeavour to usher in progress in our society and country,” he said.
He added, “May the New Year-2022 bring a lot of happiness and good health as well as success and prosperity in your life”.
The Vice President, M. Venkaiah Naidu has also greeted the nation on the eve of New Year 2022. In his message, released both in Hindi and English, he said, “I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to all Indians on the advent of the New Year 2022.”
“The New Year is a time for new beginnings. It is a time to set new goals in life and make new resolutions. On this New Year, let us resolve to be kinder, more compassionate and considerate human beings,” his message reads.
It adds, “On this joyous occasion, let us collectively resolve to dedicate ourselves towards building a peaceful, prosperous and harmonious society. May the New Year bring peace, good health and happiness in our lives.”
