Mumbai: healthcare workers, Politicians taking Covid-19 booster shots secretly

The healthcare workers, politicians, and their workers have taken the third shot at distinct hospitals in Mumbai, either without registration on Co-win or by using a different number. Many are accepted to have got antibody levels screened before taking. A shot provided in various western nations stays a hotly debated subject. The center also said that it was not a priority indicating that a decision on the third dose may not be imminent.

The booster does may be provided to vaccinated people with the ones who have lower antibody levels as 20 percent of the inoculated people have failed to develop antibodies against Covid 19, said an expert. According to the report in The New Indian Express, about 23 percent of the faculty members of a research unit were found to be antibody negative during a study after two doses of vaccine in Bhubaneswar.
