The monsoon session of Parliament is likely to be held from July 18 to August 12. Sources have given this information. According to top sources, the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, headed by Defense Minister and BJP's deputy leader in Lok Sabha Rajnath Singh, has recommended that the monsoon session be held between July 18 and August 12, 2022.
While the Election Commission of India has announced the Presidential elections, no official schedule for the election of the Vice President has been announced yet. Presidential elections will be held on July 18 and results will be declared on July 21. The term of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu will end on August 10.
The monsoon session of Parliament is going to be quite a ruckus. The main opposition Congress can surround the government in the monsoon session on ED's action on Rahul and Sonia, inflation, unemployment, issues related to farmers, standoff with China on the border and some other issues.
