Mallikarjun Kharge falls ill: While giving a speech at an election rally in Jammu and Kashmir Kathua on Sunday, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge falls ill and when he was about to lose his standing, all his supporters came to his aid and held Congress chief hand to support him.
However, Mallikarjun Kharge didn’t stop his speech and continued that he wouldn’t die until Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lost his position and power.
Kharge said, “We will fight to restore statehood…I am 83 years old, I am not going to die so early. I will stay alive till PM Modi is removed from power.”

Mallikarjun Kharge also blamed PM Modi for "shedding false tears for the future of the youth of the Valley" in his rallies.
Kharge claimed that unemployment has risen significantly under Modi’s regime, adding, “The reality is that in the last 10 years, the youth of the entire country has been pushed into darkness for which Modi himself is responsible.”
Congress chief minister also added, “Unemployment figures have just come. The highest unemployment in 45 years is the contribution of Modiji. 65% posts are vacant in government departments in Jammu and Kashmir. The jobs here are being given to outsiders on contractual and daily wages jobs.”

In a Twitter post, after his speech in Jammu and Kashmir, Kharge wrote, “Till the time Modi is not removed, I will remain alive, I will listen to you… I will fight for you!!”
However, the video of Kharge falls ill went viral, and several people raised their concerns about Mallikarjun Kharge health.
Kharge son and Congress leader Priyank Kharge replied to these concerns about Mallikarjun Kharge health, saying that he is doing well now and he has been thoroughly checked by the doctors.
In a tweet, Priyank Kharge wrote, “Congress President Kharge felt slightly unwell while addressing a public meeting in Jasrota, Jammu & Kashmir. He has been checked upon by his medical team and apart from slightly low blood pressure, he is doing well. Extremely grateful for everyone’s concern. His resolve, along with people’s good wishes, keeps him going strong.”
