Seven people died due to burning alive in a massive fire that took place in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh late on Friday night. This painful accident happened in Swarnabagh Colony of Indore. The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit. Police is investigating the case. The bodies and injured have been sent to MY Hospital in Indore.
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased in the Indore fire incident. The CM also ordered an inquiry into the incident and also ordered strict action against those who were negligent.
The building has been sealed after the tragic death of seven people due to fire in this two-storey building located in Swarn Bagh. The team of forensic department had reached the spot for investigation in the morning itself. Police are probing how the fire started. Along with this, Indore Police Commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra and MLA of the area Mahendra Hardia have also reached there.
