The price of 5 kg cylinder has also increased by Rs 27. Now the price of 5 kg cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 569. However, it is a matter of relief that there has been no increase in domestic LPG cylinders. The price of LPG cylinders is reviewed every month for all the states and union territories of the country. Earlier, on February 1, the oil marketing companies had cut the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 91.50.
Commercial gas prices have seen a 5-fold increase in 5 months. Earlier, the hike was done on November 1 and October 15. As per the notification, there was no increase in the prices of domestic cylinders weighing 14.2 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg mixed or 5 kg mixed cylinders.
