LIVE: PM Modi launches Mega Recruitment Drive, 50 Union Ministers handed over appointment letters to over 75 thousand youths

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Mega Recruitment Drive on Dhanteras today. Under this, 50 Union Ministers handed over appointment letters to 75 thousand 226 youths at different locations. Through this drive, the target is to provide jobs to 10 lakh youth for the next one and a half year i.e. by December 2023. All the recruitment will be done through UPSC, SSC, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) and other central agencies.

Addressing the youth during the ceremony, the PM said that today is an important day for the youth power of India. In the last 8 years, the campaign for employment and self-employment is going on in the country, today another link has been attached to it. This link is for job fair. Today the central government is giving appointment letters to 75000 youths.

A database of vacancies in 38 ministries and departments of the central government has been prepared for 10 lakh jobs received by the central government. In June this year, the Prime Minister reviewed the manpower in the ministries and departments. It was only after this that the decision was taken to start the Mega Recruitment Drive.
