Lakshmi Puja Muhurta till 12:40 A.M: Know the method of worship-aarti, keep these things in mind

There is no Muhurta for worship in the day on Diwali. Lakshmi Puja can be done only after 5 pm. Because Kartik Amavasya will start in the evening and will last till 5 pm the next day. But there will be a solar eclipse on the 25th. Therefore, the Muhurta of Lakshmi Puja will remain in the evening and night only.

After 2000 years, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn will remain in their own zodiac on Diwali. Also, there will be five Raja Yogas at the time of Lakshmi Puja. These planetary yogas are indicating happiness, prosperity and profit. So this time Diwali will be very auspicious.

There are different beliefs about Diwali in Skanda, Padma and Bhavishya Purana. According to a legend, Maharaja Prithu exploited the earth and made the country prosperous with wealth and grains. That's why we celebrate Diwali. According to Shrimad Bhagavatam and Vishnudharmottara Purana, Lakshmi appeared on the new moon day of Kartik month from the churning of the ocean.

The Markandeya Purana says that when there was only darkness on the earth, the goddess seated on a lotus appeared with a bright light. She was Lakshmi. The world was created by his light. Hence there is a tradition of Lakshmi Puja on this day. At the same time, there is a tradition of celebrating Deepawali to welcome Shri Ram back to Ayodhya.
