Kolkata News: Trinamool leader Ram Pyare Ram's son dies in a road accident

Trinamool Congress leader Ram Pyare Ram's son died in a road accident in Kolkata's Kiddarpur area. Police said on Sunday that the car of Ram Kinkar Ram (38), who was passing through Babubazar, was hit by a truck coming from the opposite side at around 8.40 pm on Saturday night. According to a senior official, Kinkar Ram died on the spot. "Kinkar Ram was taken to SSKM hospital, where he was declared brought dead," the official told PTI. Search operation is on to nab the truck driver and his helper.” According to the official, the rescue team had to use gas cutters to retrieve Ram's body from the car.

According to the information, Kinkar Ram was going towards Katapukur in a garage. At that time a truck was coming from the opposite direction. There was manure in the truck. The truck lost its balance due to the bad road and rammed into the car of the Trinamool leader's son. After the accident, the car came under the truck. Due to which Ram died in the car. The lorry was lifted by a crane. After that, Kinkar Ram, who was seriously injured after cutting the car with a gas-cutter, was pulled out and people immediately rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The truck driver and the helper fled from the spot after the accident. Police is conducting a search operation to nab them.
