Key changes from October in Debit Card, Credit Card Payment, Pension, LPG Price
From pension documents to chequebooks becoming invalid, there are many changes next month.
Today is the last day of this month. From tomorrow 1st October, there are a few changes expected to come into action from Friday. These changes are best and would affect in some way or the other. From a pension rule change to changed LPG prices, here are the six changes to keep an eye on.
Pension Rule- This will start from 1st October 2021, the rules related to the digital life certificate for pensioners will change. For anyone who is above 80 years, the rule is they will have to submit the digital life certificate or proof of life certificate. Chequebook Rule Change- From October, the old chequebooks and MICR codes of the three banks will become invalid. OBC, United Bank of India, and Allahabad Bank were revealed to be taking this change. Auto Debit Facility- The facility for auto-debit from your credit/debit card will notice some changes from tomorrow. All banks will have to carry out additional factor authentication which means monthly nills and auto-paid bills will have to be verified by the customer and approved 24 hours ahead of the transaction.
