Jammu & Kashmir: Terrorist Killed in an Encounter between Security Forces and Terrorists in the Cheyan Devsar area of Kulgam

In the Cheyanne Devsar area of Kulgam, Jammu, and Kashmir, an encounter had been underway between the Security Forces and Terrorists, in which both the terrorists were killed.

As per the Jammu and Kashmir Police, "Both the trapped terrorists were killed (in the Cheyan Devsar area of Kulgam). Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition have been recovered. The Police further mentioned that the Search is underway, and further details are awaited."

As per IGP Kashmir, "Out of the 2, one Pakistani terrorist Haider was involved in 2 recent terror crimes in Bandipora leading to 6 deaths: incl a CT, an SCT, SPO & 3 policemen. The other local terrorist Shahbaz Shah was involved in a civilian killing."
