Israeli Prime Minister Bennett fell under the sway of Covid19 shortly before his visit to India. His corona test was found positive on Sunday. Bennett, 50, was scheduled to tour India from April 3-5, now postponed due to corona. Last week in New Delhi, the Indian Foreign Ministry announced Bennett's visit to India from April 3-5 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Opposition leader and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wished Bennett a speedy recovery.
"The prime minister is feeling better and will continue working from home," Bennett's office said on Monday. Earlier, Bennett attended a meeting at the site of the terror attack in Hadera. Two Israeli border policemen were killed and some others were injured in Sunday night's attack here.
