On Saturday, October 23, his lawyer said, a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against poet and activist Telugu Varavara Rao from an additional court in Madhugiri in the Tumkuru district of Karnataka, linked to a 2005 Maoist attack case.

The 2005 case pertains to an attack on cops by Maoists in Tumakuru on ten February 2005 during which Rao and another writer and activist named Gaddar were named as accused, Rao' professional person S Balan told PTI.
Six police personnel and a civilian were killed within the attack that occurred at Venkatammanahalli in Pavagada taluk in Karnataka.
The Mumbai court on fourteen Oct had aforementioned that the activist doesn't got to surrender before the Taloja jail authorities till twenty eight October. His plea seeking Associate in Nursing extension of the bail are going to be detected on Tuesday, twenty six October.
