Kohli And Patidar Fifties Help RCB To Score 206/7
Kohli And Patidar Fifties Help RCB To Score 206/7: Virat Kohli and Rajat Patil both hit fifty in RCB's 206/7 in 20 overs against SRH.
At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat first.
Patidar smashed 50 off 20 balls, including four sixes in the 11th over against Mayank Markande, while Kohli also scored 51 off 43, continuing his Hyderabad love affair.
Patidar on the mic said, "I think the surface is double-paced, especially for fast bowlers. We can use cutters well on this wicket. The spinners will try to bowl back of a length as much as possible."
"I was just planning my innings, I was not thinking about century. (4 consecutive sixes vs Markande) It was not a plan but I started well in that over, I was trying to maximise. Playing spinners, I try to maximise."

"to take as many runs in an over as I can, to keep the pressure on the bowler. I was trying to maximise the fast bowler as well, but I'll try in the next match. (Advice to the bowlers) We should use good slower balls on this wicket."
In his 100th IPL match, Jaydev Unadkat finished with figures of 3/30 in four overs, including Kohli's wicket.
Moreover, they marked their 250th appearance in the IPL, making them only the second franchise to accomplish this feat.
Having played 255 games since the league's inception in 2008, the Mumbai Indians are the first team to have played more than 250 matches.
