INTERPOL General Assembly: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, the world will have to be united against terror

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 90th Interpol General Assembly. He said that this time is important for both India and Interpol. India is celebrating 75 years of independence in 2022. It is a celebration of our culture, people and achievements. At the same time, PM Modi said that the world will have to unite against terror. The Interpol General Assembly meeting is attended by delegations from 195 Interpol member states. This includes ministers, police chiefs of countries, heads of national central bureaus and senior police officers. Two delegations have also come to represent Pakistan in the Interpol General Assembly meeting. Delegations from 195 Interpol member countries including Pakistan are participating in it.
PM Modi said that India is a case study for the world in maintaining diversity and democracy. Over the past 99 years, Interpol has linked police organizations in 195 countries globally. This is despite differences in the legal framework.

PM Modi said that Interpol is also approaching a historic milestone. In 2023, Interpol will celebrate 100 years of its establishment. This program is being held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. The 90th General Assembly of Interpol will be held from 18 to 21 October. Interpol President Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Secretary General Jurgen Stock and Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation are also present at the General Assembly, which begins today.
