Instagram META to use new hastag option to empower creators
Instagram, which is owned by Meta, has announced new capabilities for its short-video creation programme that will empower creators.
Instagram Reels: Instagram, which is owned by Meta, has announced new capabilities for its short-video creation programme that will empower creators. The social network has added a new location for popular audio and hashtags, two new metrics for Reels Insights, and expanded the availability of Reels to more countries.
Creators may now check the most popular trending topics and hashtags on Reels. “We’re making it easier for you to edit your Reels on Instagram by bringing together video clips, audio, stickers, and text on a unified editing screen,” Meta explained.
The feature is available on both iOS and Android devices worldwide. Total viewing time and average watch time are two new metrics added to Reels. According to the corporation, watch time refers to the overall amount of time your reel was played, including the time spent replaying the reel. Average watch time is the amount of time spent watching your reel on average, which is derived by dividing the watch time by the total number of plays.
For example, if your average watch duration is 17 seconds, then everyone who watched your Reel watched for an average of 17 seconds. This can assist designers in better understanding where people are engaged and where you may need to develop a stronger hook to hold viewers for a longer period of time.
“We’re also introducing a new way to see how your Reels are helping you grow. “You will now receive notifications from your Reels with new followers,” the business stated.
The company is also introducing a new tool that will display creators the presents their followers have sent them, allowing them to recognise their supporters.
