Considering the present situation in Ukraine, which might explode anytime in the coming days, the Embassy of India in Kyiv has issued a statement in which it has asked the Indian nationals, particularly students whose stay is not very essential at present, to leave the country.

There is a strong possibility that Russia will invade Ukraine as the former has moved its forces on the Ukraine border and the situation might turn into a full-scale war any moment.
The advisory has come in the wake of the current situation that has prevailed in the country. The Embassy of India in Kyiv, in a statement released to the media, has said, “In view of uncertainties of the current situation in Ukraine, Indian nationals, particularly students whose stay not essential, may consider leaving temporarily.”
Besides, the Embassy has also cautioned the Indian nationals to keep it informed about their whereabouts in Ukraine so that in case they can be reached out in case of any help.
"Indian nationals are requested to keep the Embassy informed about the status of their presence in Ukraine to enable the Embassy to reach them where required," the Embassy’s statement said.
India is not the only country that has made this request to its citizens. Since the beginning of the crisis, countries across the globe are asking their citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible. They have severely reduced their diplomatic staff as well.
