IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts of Uttarakhand, while heavy to very heavy at isolated places in the remaining districts. In view of the warning of heavy rains, Dhami has directed all the District Magistrates and Divisional Commissioners to be ready at all times to deal with any challenge related to the disaster. Dhami has appealed to the tourists and the general public not to go towards the rivers and rainy drains in view of the forecast of heavy rains.
