Hearing in the Gyanvapi Masjid case will now be held in the Supreme Court tomorrow
The counsel for the Muslim side had said in his plea that how the premises could be sealed. He called the orders illegal. The lawyer had also said in the argument that it is like sealing the property without listening to us. You are also limiting the place of prayer in the mosque.
The hearing in the Supreme Court in the Gyanvapi Masjid case has been adjourned till Friday. The Supreme Court has asked the trial court of Varanasi not to pass any order today. The hearing in the Gyanvapi Mosque case will now take place in the Supreme Court tomorrow i.e. on Friday at 3 pm. Earlier on May 17, the matter was heard in the Supreme Court.
The survey report of the Special Commissioner was presented in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Varanasi. The Anjuman Intejamiya Masjid filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the Varanasi Court. The Varanasi court had ordered a videographic survey of the Gyanvapi mosque complex.
On Thursday morning, Special Assistant Commissioner Ajay Pratap Singh, appointed by the court, presented the report of the survey in the Varanasi court. He said that we have presented the survey report before the court. The 10-15 page survey report has been presented before the court. Special Commissioner Vishal Singh filed a detailed survey report in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) with photographs and survey measurements and maps based on them. The process will proceed after the report is placed in the court.
