Health Structure of the entire world can collapse : WHO

In what could be said as the most alarming statement in the current times where the Omnicron variant is spreading exponentially, the WHO chief Tedros Adhanom has said that with the amalgamation of the Omnicron and the Delta variant of the Corona Virus, could lead to a tsunami of Covid Cases. The dramatic rise in the number of cases can collapse the entire healthcare system of the entire world. Reportedly all the countries are reporting an increment in the number of Covid cases from the past few weeks.

In a press conference held at Geneva, Mr Adhanom said that, “I am highly concerned that Omicron, being more transmissible, circulating at the same time as Delta, is leading to a tsunami of cases. This is and will continue to put immense pressure on the exhausted health workers.”
