‘Harvard Is a Joke’: Donald Trump Launches New Attack on Ivy League Institution
"Harvard can no longer be considered even a decent place of learning," Trump posted on Truth Social.
‘Harvard Is a Joke’: The United States President Donald Trump, in his latest attack on Harvard University, one of the world's most elite educational institutions, stated that Harvard has become "a joke" and "should no longer receive Federal Funds."
"Harvard can no longer be considered even a decent place of learning, and should not be considered on any list of the World's Great Universities or Colleges," Trump said on his Truth Social platform.
"Harvard is a JOKE, teaches Hate and Stupidity, and should no longer receive Federal Funds."
Incensed about financial tussles with the federal government, Trump has taken out, guns blazing, against some elite institutions of higher learning, with Harvard being at the nucleus of this warfare.

Trump roundly condemned two high-profile appointments of the school: Bill de Blasio as former Mayor of New York City and Lori Lightfoot as former Mayor of Chicago.
“They hired, from New York (Bill D) and Chicago (Lori L), at ridiculously high salaries/fees, two of the WORST and MOST INCOMPETENT mayors in the history of our Country, to 'teach' municipal management and government,” Trump wrote.
On Tuesday, Trump threatened to remove the tax-exempt status from the institution as a nonprofit educational body just hours after freezing federal funding of $2.2 billion.
“These two Radical Left fools left behind two cities that will take years to recover from their incompetence and evil. Harvard has been hiring almost all woke, Radical Left, idiots and “birdbrains” who are only capable of teaching FAILURE to students and so-called “future leaders,” he added.
The White House also threatened to withdraw federal funding at many colleges over the latter's student and staff racial diversity programs.
Trump has demanded more than just making procedural changes in matters of student selection and hiring; he has also called for "audits" of academic programs and departments.
But Harvard, as with many other universities, was unwilling to acquiesce to any such Trumpian demand, seeing it as an infringement on its independence and constitutional rights, therefore forfeiting all federal funding.
The U.S. president and his administration have cited state-sponsored pressure against universities as retaliation against what they described as rampant anti-Semitism and even support for the Palestinian armed group Hamas.
