Har Ghar Tiranga: PM Modi puts the tricolor in his profile photo, appeals countrymen to change their DP, Amit Shah Follows

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the 'profile' picture of his social media account and has put the tricolor on the DP. While interacting with the countrymen in the 91st edition of AIR's monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', the Prime Minister mentioned the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and asked people to take a 'profile' picture of his social media account between August 2 and 15. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday also called upon people to use the tricolor as a 'profile' picture on his social media account between August 2 and August 15. Along with this, he had requested people to join the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. Shah's appeal comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the 'Azadi' Amrit Mahotsav has become a mass movement and urged people to put up the tricolor as their 'profile' picture on their social media accounts between August 2 and 15.

He said, "Have changed the DP of my social media accounts to Tiranga on PM Narendra Modi Ji’s clarion call to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. I urge all to change the DP of your social media accounts to Tiranga to show your love and respect for the National flag. #HarGharTiranga.

Under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign of the Central Government, the tricolor will be hoisted at more than 20 crore houses across the country for three days this month. Under the program, the tricolor will be hoisted over the houses with public participation from August 13 to 15.
